DAY 1 – Colombo to Kandy

You arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport where our local team greets you and brings you toward Kandy. The road climbs slowly into the hills until the lake appears at the centre of the city. Kandy is the last ancient royal capital of Sri Lanka, a place where legends and traditions still breathe through daily life. In the afternoon you walk around the lake and explore the old streets before watching a Kandyan dance performance. The colours, masks, and drums show a part of the island’s cultural heart. You then visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, one of the most important Buddhist sites in the country. As evening arrives, you witness the Pooja ceremony, a daily ritual filled with light, prayer, and quiet devotion. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 1

DAY 2 – Kandy to Peradeniya to Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast you leave for the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya. Wide paths, towering trees, and nearly four thousand varieties of plants make the garden a peaceful escape. The orchid house, one of the largest of its kind, is a highlight of the visit. Later the road climbs toward Nuwara Eliya. Mist, green slopes, and endless tea plantations shape the landscape. The cool mountain air gives the town a gentle charm. You wander through the plantations and taste tea freshly prepared in the region where it grows. Dinner and rest in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 3 – Nuwara Eliya to Yala through Ravana Falls and Buduruwagala

After breakfast you continue south. The journey brings you first to Ravana Falls, a wide curtain of water tied to old legends of kings and ancient stories. Further along lies Buduruwagala, where seven tall Buddhist figures are carved directly into the rock face. They stand silent in the middle of the forest, carrying centuries of history in their expression. By afternoon you arrive in Kataragama and prepare for an evening safari in Yala National Park. Yala is known for its striking coastlines, open plains, and the chance to see elephants, deer, crocodiles, and even leopards. The soft light of the afternoon gives the landscape a golden calm. After the safari you return to your hotel for dinner.

DAY 4 – Kataragama to Weligama to Galle to Colombo

The morning takes you toward the southern coast. You stop at Weligama where fishermen balance on tall wooden posts planted in the sea. Their quiet patience and steady rhythm give the place a timeless feeling. The journey continues along the coast until you reach Galle. The old fort, with its narrow lanes and stone walls facing the ocean, reflects a blend of Portuguese and Dutch influence. After exploring the area you continue to Colombo, where you settle into your hotel for the night.

DAY 5 – Departure from Colombo

If your flight leaves later in the day, you may take a short tour of Colombo in the morning. The city moves quickly in some parts, yet still keeps older streets lined with historic buildings, small markets, and peaceful gardens. When the time arrives, we bring you to the airport. The journey closes with calm scenes of mountains, temples, wildlife, and the warm coastal breeze still fresh in your memory.
